Fanny
Red Tailed Hawk ( Buteo Jamaicensis)
On the return leg of our walk along the River Ouse, we heard an unusual whistle. This guy stolls out of the early evening haze, hailing his dog and holding a hawk on his arm. Quite a sight!
Top bloke, he let me take a few shots and answered all our dumb bird of prey type questions. Let's face it, he probably gets asked the same stuff, week after week after week. He never let on though.
We salute you, top rockin',modern day medievalist, your beautiful bird Fanny, and your top dog Moz (named after Morrisey!).
