Stonechat (Saxicola torquata) female

Love this bird and the curious noise it makes. Pretty unmistakable. A harsh kind of croak almost. This is how it got it's name, the sound is supposed to be like a couple of stones being knocked together. The more you hear it, the more you tend to agree.
