WW-2 US Combat Medic Supplies

This is a collection of original World War II US Army medic supplies of various types. Individual pictures of items are shown elsewhere. This set has no Sulfadiazine tablets, no cathartic pills (currently), no morphine, no medical patient tags. It does, however, have a wide variety of items to reflect a soldier who, perhaps, scrounged for extra supplies. It has ammonia inhalants, eye dressings, head dressings, compress bandages, triangular bandages, compressed and rolled gauze, burn ointments, cotton, Carlisle bandages, iodine swabs, Sulfanilamide powder, foot powder, plaster of paris, safety pins, camphor ice, tape, soap, surgical tools, snake-bite kit, pill bottles, needle sterilizer, etc. It was FUN collecting all these things! ...still looking for some items...expensive hobby. I have seen a set similar to this that had a bit fewer items and no helmet or surgical tools that was selling for a thousand dollars. I am also always impressed by the multiple manufacturers of items, and in this case, how there seemed to be a general uniform of size on a variety of "packets" or "kits."
