The Patrol Pathfinder Course was conducted in three phases from 11 June to 27 July 2012 for a total of 45 training days.
The Patrol Pathfinder Course enables the Pathfinder to execute insertion/extraction techniques by air, land and sea in hostile environments. Operating in a section-sized force they perform the tactical marking and securing of Drop Zones, Landing Zones and Beach Heads as well as airstrips used for tactical airlift operations for follow-on forces.
