upland moor

When we visited the east of Iceland we decided to stay near lake Lagarfljót. After we went to the waterfall Hengifoss we had no other desitnations or locations in mind and so we decided to drive in eastern direction that evening. It was a good decision because we came across a really large high plateau with a moor. There was no one else around, just us and the fog. Somehow it was kind of scary but on the other hand it was nice to feel the pure nature.
