Castanea mollissima. Here it's the fuzzy inside of the shell that looks so comfy and fuzzy - in sharp contrast (both senses) to the outer shell. From the Botany Photo of the Day entry, botanyphoto.botanicalgarden.ubc.ca/2017/02/castanea-molli..., "The name mollissima means “soft” in Latin, and is in reference to the fuzzy leaf undersides and downy twigs". Well, they missed the fuzziest bit in coming up with the name.
