Government St. commemorative bricks
Irvine/Laing ca.1851
Today's Times-Colonist featured a story and photo taken at this location on Government Street in Victoria, BC. Similar commemorative bricks to these are shown in said photo.
Today we walked 4.4km around Cedar Hill Golf Course (CHGC) chiptrail under overcast (ovc) skies. A pleasant 16°C. Crazy, dog-woman's vehicle was there but we did not see her nor hear her foul mouth so knew we were having a good day.
The new rocketfish®, android armband worked quite good considering the phone was covered with a clear plastic bag. Due to the fact smartphones are not waterproof it was decided to cover the unit in case it rained. It was a good test. The only place the phone screwed up was after driving to downtown the phone thought it was still at the golfcourse. At least the GPS sensors did. We took a picture downtown and the GPS coordinates showed us as being at CHGC. Daah!
