Africa Beach is a labor-of-love operated by a retired advertising executive who quit the rat-race in Vancouver, BC for the realative obscurity as bed-and-breakfast operator at Chesterman Beach on Vancouver Island (8km south from Tofino, BC). Baku, said operator, only has one cabin so if you want to feel really pampered you better get in line.
Unlike the Wickaninnish Inn (just down the beach), Baku only has to cater to one set of guests at a time -- not hundreds.
N.B. Baku's cottage is not on the beach but in the bush at 1250 Lynn road (90m from Chesterman Beach by footpath)
