There was no breeze... just the soft sound of waves and the whispering of the fog. She stood quietly on the pier in the rain. It was as though time stood still and nothing moved. Except, of course, the rain.
Soft rain and thick fog. What a day.
430EZ on a stand and aimed down at her. Set at 1/8 power and balanced to be a stop brighter than the ambient. Fired with radios. Shade setting on the Canon to warm the cool light and that is pretty much it. Very little Photoshop on this image.
I was reminded of a shot by Pete Turner I saw a long time ago. I believe she was on a small pier with a sink in it. Long time ago, but that shot stuck with me.
