Cochran Spin

I was really disapointed when I first arrived at Cochran Mills to photography the waterfall. Low water flow (which I kinda figured, but still) and I just wasn't feeling it. I drove about 30 minutes so what the heck... I broke out the camera and started to compose some shots.

The sun was creating some challenges at first, though most of the water was in shadow, so I decided to break out the ND and stack my polarizer on it. Then, after a test shot I realized an opportunity... The motion of the leaves in the splash pool :-) Oh yeah...

I have about 16 or 17 various shots and comps but this one to me, as I reviewed my shots, seemed the best to show off the swirling I was getting. I thought about breaking out my remote for "bulb" exposures but decided that anything longer than 30 seconds was probably overkill...
