Through the arch

I had this image in mind after visiting Durdle Door earlier this year and took a similar composition.

 

I used The Photographer's Ephermeris to plot the position of the sun and marked the days (covering about 2 weeks). I was watching the weather over these weeks and when there was a break in the weather got the day off to head down and managed to catch the sun at just the right time. I tried some long exposures but kept getting spray on the lens so this is a HDR from 5 images.
