Aren't dragonflies great

A Migrant Hawker pauses for a moment on some reeds.

 

This is in fact a focus stack of 13 images shot at f3.5, to ensure that I got the whole dragonfly in focus as I was at an awkward angle shooting through some bushes, and to get a smoother background as it was shot in a ditch. Dmap retouched with Pmax in zerene stacker.

 

Well worth going large!
