Foggy Night Fillup
I've passed by this downtown Issaquah vintage filling station often and was convinced that it would best be captured at night. I kept putting off grabbing a shot but this night I knew it would be foggy so I deliberately went out to capture the scene in dense fog.
In trying to recreate the feel of the "olde tyme" service station, I shot this using my Kodak Portra NC Custom Picture Control. I still ended up playing with some Control Points in Capture NX to fix some of the lighting. I also applied a fairly aggressive high-pass filter to try and get that old film look.
