DSC06773 Tom playing at being a clown last Christmas.
Taken last Christmas. Tom is unconscious on a machine in Intensive care at East Surrey hospital. Severe heart trouble which doctors think he would have had for quite some time, possibly years without being aware of it, Also lung trouble and perhaps sepsis in a valve in the heart. Prayers would be welcome whatever happens. They are working very hard on his behalf but chances for success are very low. Today he has tested positive for covid. We had already tested positive for it on Mar 17th but negative a few days later. They think perhaps the test didn't work deeply enough at that time to have picked up that he still had it so it had never gone away. It is his birthday tomorrow. June 1st when he will be 76.
