I took this in November, Normally we get so few birds in our garden that the holly berries survive for some months into the following year. Not this year. Most of the berries have gone from this bush now but not from the variegated one where they are less ripe and perhaps more difficult for the birds to get at. I would much prefer birds and no berries to berries and no birds.
