Bikemod: easy to make mudflaps weighted down by pennies

To prevent road spray from soaking my shoes, I've extended the paltry stock mudflap on the SKS Race Blades with electrical tape.

 

I was aware of Alex Wetmore's solution of cutting out rubber gaskets, but felt like the Race Blades couldn't support a heavier material, so I opted for this cheap and quick fix. To prevent the lighter material from flying up, the flaps are weighed down with two pennies (though I'll probably more after further riding).
