Make Your Own Shaped Bokeh

So I've had a couple of people asking and sending me messages about how to do heart shaped bokeh and I thought it be more simpler to just post about it on here. :)

 

It's actually very very simple. I use to think you had to move the camera to make the shape somehow, that is until I found this really helpful page that shows you how to do a simple lens adapter out of construction paper that allows you to make any bokeh shape you can dream of. This is the lens adapter I made in a couple of minutes, very ghetto looking, but it works. :) I really want to experiment with other shapes like stars and other things, so we'll see.
