i smurfed a cake!
I smurfed Tillie a cake. I hope she has a smurfy birthday!
Here's another random Windy idea that needed to come to fruition. I definitely could learn a thing or two about cake decorating, but let's not let that distract from the awesomeness of a smurf house cake!!!
I bought one of those giant cupcake pans. Then I realized the likelihood of ever having a use for it was slim to none. Then I saw how you could make a castle and various other things with it, and it occurred to me OMG it looks like a Smurf house!! So I made it a mission to make this cake.
Tillie isn't exactly a Smurf fan. When I asked her if it was okay to get a Smurf cake she replied, "Well I guess so. I did try to color myself blue once to look like a Smurf." Yeah, Tillie, it's your birthday and I just shared a random, embarrassing fact about you to the world. That's just how I roll.
This is actually part of a weekly tradition I started at work. We bake on Fridays to cheer everyone up at the end of the week. It's "the No Frownies on Friday Bake Club." Tillie used to tell me every Friday I wasn't allowed to frown as Friday is NOT the end of my week, so I don't always have the same euphoria as everyone else. Anyway, here is one of my favorite baking attempts for No Frownie Friday.
