Fall in West Virginia

This is my first fall color trip to West Virginia. Due to the shutdown of the government and all national parks, I had to switch my eye from Great Smoky Mountains to the lesser well-known, but equally beautiful babcock state park in West Virginia.

We went up not too early that morning since it was still raining at sunrise. At about 8 o'clock, we drove the overlook in the park near the cabins. Pretty sad when we arrived cause we could barely see anything in the fog. Luckily enough, after quite a wait, the mountains finally revealed itself! There was a window of probably 10 min and we had a great shooting experience.

Thanks for watching and hope you enjoy!
