Paneled wall

The client approached us with a tattered magazine clipping of a traditional Colonial paneled room end. The design was adapted from that photo. Built in 1990, we were recently afforded an opportunity to visit the clients house for additional work, and update our portfolio shot.

During construction, the client was having problems with the builder. As is often the case, the customer called us “the bright spot” in the building of her home.

All the mouldings for this project were custom run by us. Several utilized custom tooling we made for one of our most notable projects, the painting frame at Clayton. Ideally we wanted a carved shell and curved back for the niches, bur budget precluded this option.
