Lilium columbianum: Conboy Lake NWR

We were late for lily season in Washington State. I did find a small stem trail side with an open blossom and a bud and when I returned the next morning the bud had opened. These blossoms are small compared to our Carolina species (L superbum, L. michauxii) with strongly reflexed petals. My field guide says that the long stamens are tightly clustered.
