Interior Atrium

The plants were chosen because they produce a maximal amount of oxygen for the residents. The building's main designer worked at Trinity College, and it's clear that Trinity's research groups were used as much as possible. So the designer actually commissioned a study to determine which plants would survive the atrium while providing as much oxygen as possible.
