20/365|200110: Back to the past
This week the local Government of Utrecht started with the destruction of a part of the city centre (if your dutch read more about it over here: bouwput.blogspot.com/2010/01/aan-de-slag.html .
The next ten years the inhabitants and visitors of the city will be harassed with traffic jams and unannounced road blocks. in 2020 everything must be ready but until that time you can expect views like this ( 1.bp.blogspot.com/_zNHGQPD0voA/S1SplC9K8VI/AAAAAAAAEoo/BQ... )! It looks like a scene from a new Terminator movie after the rise of the machines. Let's make things better an put all new shiny new architecture in town so we can feed all the architects, developers and all the officials the coming years. ;-)
Sometimes I dream about 'Utrecht mijn stadje' how it used to be! Luckily I discovered a new button on my camera with the letters TM. I pushed it when I walked around the city and all of a sudden I was transported back into team decades ago.
If I only had read the manual I would have known that TM stands for Timemachine. But I sure liked the trip! ;-)
