nebulous

looks like i've finally got the hang of using the motor drive on my telescope. it's still a bit wobbly and there's too much cloud to do a really long exposure.

 

so, this is my first attempt at a single longer-than-0.5s-exposure shot of the orion nebula. it's quite low on the horizon and taken from my back garden in the middle of a city on a somewhat cloudy night. looking forward to clear skies and trips to the countryside!
