In the Workshop

Our Rifle Club takes part in a yearly competition, and in conjunction with this, we always have a cultural program afterwards. This year we participated in the Canton of Schwyz Championships and so our "class trip" was to visit the factory which produces a typical Swiss Folklore instrument -- the "Schwyzer Handörgeli! This instrument is a cross between an accordian and a concertina. I am open to corrections should this not be true. Being able to visit this workshop was a photographer's dream, and I welcomed the diffuse light from the rainy weather.

Here's a link to how this instrument sounds: www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hc-3QQiQMcI This video clip is so "Swiss" in every sense of the word, and recorded in the 60's, I believe.
