Another quick impulse purchase on eBay, which arrived today. I was surprised to see this going unsold for a couple of pounds so thought I'd give it a home.
Whilst instinctively thinking this was a girl, the sitting astride position (rather than side saddle) would suggest it is in fact a boy. From the type of card mount I'd estimate this to be 1880s, though it could be a little earlier. George Wade was in Grove Road from 1872 until 1898, so not much help in narrowing this down!
