The Sopwith Camel is one of the most famous aircraft ever built. It holds a special place in history as the most successful allied aircraft of the Great War. It also as a unique distinction of having killed more of its own pilots than enemy aircraft did by virtue of its difficult handling characteristics in the hands of unskilled pilots. Still, the unstable flight characteristics made for an extremely agile fighter in the hands of a seasoned pilot.
This model is built primarily using parts from 7607. I felt the plane in that set was inspired, and with a few more parts makes for a really great fighter plane.
