Glass Ply application
In some instances, the roof has an area that experiences a great deal of movement. Three tab shingles and rolled roofing on a barrel roof such as this is a prime example of this. To help divorce the old roof from the coating and allow stop the movement from transferring to the new membrane, glass ply is a perfect remedy. Polyester sheets can also be applied to a roof in the same manner, but in our experience glass ply is more suited to this type of roof.
