Chipster was originally built in a few weeks in 2003 for the Trinity Firefighting Competition. See action videos at www.youtube.com/user/PBRobotics
It uses 2 Parallax Basic Stamps for its brains. It placed 10th in the Senior Division that year. I also won a "Spirit of the Inventor" award for my use of independent autonomous shutters that limit the viewing area of the Hamamatsu UV sensor.
