Opened in 2012, Newnan's new 362,000 square-foot, 136-bed hospital. Founded over 100 years ago by Dr. Ludwig Amster and Dr. Floyd Willcox McRae, the first Piedmont Hospital opened in Atlanta Georgia, and has grown now to a total of five.
One of the many US private not-for-profit hospitals, cost of services are reimbursed through Medicare, Medicaid and most commercial or managed care insurance plans.
