Blue Ridge Parkway WNC - Fire in the Mountains
Sunset sky over the Blue Ridge Mountains along the Blue Ridge Parkway south of Asheville, NC. If there is a better place to watch the sunset than from the Blue Ridge Parkway in western NC I am not aware of it. The Southern Appalachians are such a beautiful setting to enjoy the sunset or sunrise, with layers of valleys and mountain ridges stacked upon each other stretching into the distance. Mountain ridges that are part of The Great Smoky Mountains National Park are visible in the distance. Hope you enjoy it, comments welcome! ;-)
Single Exposure w/ Nikon D700 and the 17-35mm 2.8 lens and ND Grad.
