Here's one from last June while out on an afternoon hike to the always gorgeous Jane Bald in the Southern Appalachian Mountains. It was a truly beautiful afternoon on the Appalachian Trail spent with good friends taking in the golden sunlight skipping across the mountains in the Roan Mountain Highlands region along the border between Western North Carolina and Eastern Tennessee.
