A new project I'm toying with....comparison photos.
This is a 1944 view of Rockford looking west on the Chestnut Street bridge overlaying 2012...The "Brown Lofts" on the right is the only building remaining today, although it is missing the "cone" on its tower. The bridge appears to be a bit wider today too....
I have stacks of old photos I plan to attempt similar overlays.
