Rufous-capped Warbler in Panama

This attractive Rufous-capped Warbler was actively feeding in roadside bushes not far from the Canopy Lodge. It appeared quite wren-like in some poses with its tail cocked up.

It is fairly common on the Pacific slope of Panama and I have had good looks at this species a number of times, but this was the first close unobstructed view.
