Scale-breasted Woodpecker in Ecuador
While observing wildlife from the central metal tower at Sacha Lodge, we were very fortunate to have this Scale-breasted Woodpecker briefly land on the side of the canopy walkway very close to us. We saw this species and several others in the canopy of nearby trees as well.
