i stayed up until 5am reading tedious articles for my linguistic anthropology class. i didn't want to look like a fool at the weekly discussion. that didn't matter cos i overslept and missed it completely.
one good thing about today: silent movies in my film class! we screened charlie chapman's, "the kid," and buster keaton's, "the general." the great humour, passion, and film techniques really surprised me. also, i found myself attracted to buster keaton as a train engineer. *shock* am i revealing my embarrassing secrets on flickr? the other day they showed a dw griffith film (not the one you're thinking of) and it was printed on nitrate base!!! AHHH! i was excited.
