Whenever I opt to let Bogart meet an entire kitten family, I am always a wee bit nervous initially. You see, Bogart has such a sensitive heart that he doesn't take rejection well. Heidi is a perfect example of a feline momma despising my gentle boy. Well, yesterday Bogart met the entire rescue family on their turf. The momma cat watched when we entered their suite (they have the master bedroom with attached bath to themselves). The kittens came out to greet us. And one of the girls hung out with Bogart. Both were quite content, then the wee one started asking for her momma. So momma came out to investigate. She walked up to Bogart, bumped noses with him, and then went back and laid down, content to watch. The momma obviously has been around dogs before, and she obviously trusted Bogart completely. Wonderful for dear Bogart, that means he will easily get to spend time with the kittens.
