Behind Bars?

Vidalia has been a tremendous gift to me, given on the back porch, in a trap meant for a feral with a broken leg [my beloved Winston, trapped later and released]. This incredibly gorgeous feral/stray adolescent female appeared in my life and has successfully stolen my heart. Is she serving time for that? I actually wondered if Vidalia would have a deep drive to return to her former stomping grounds. . . she didn't show an interest in going outside once her kittens were born. I figured she would once they were gone. She didn't. Once the weather warms up, she'll try to head back outside, I reasoned. . . while Vidalia has been acutely aware of the happenings in the yard, she has not been determined to head back out there. I wondered if our house would feel a bit like a prison to her, but she adjusted fabulously. You would never know she once was on the other side of the walls. . .
