Sta. Ana, Manila, Philippines

Ondoy, the typhoon that visited the Philippines this weekend, greatly devastated Metro Manila. I didn't know much about the gravity of the damaged brought by Ondoy until I've seen the videos posted on Facebook. The scenes were really shocking!

What you can do?

Black Pencil Project

In response to the multi-sectoral call for help and assistance, Black Pencil Project is launching a pencil drive starting today, Sept. 27 and will end on Oct. 3, 2009, Saturday.

We aim to collect pencils and other school supplies to be given to the hardly-stricken areas.
