Almost same purpose both doing different way

White one from apple and the black one from nokia. both extended part is doing almost identical feature. ie. receive call, volumn increase, decrease, forward to the next music etc.. but see how both company's designer solved the problem ? nokia's one took huge size on the other hand apple's one looks smart and compact.
