Plants of Burns Bog, Delta, BC

Burns Bog is a unique and world-famous raised bog located near the Fraser River in Delta, BC. It is home to many locally-rare plants. Like most bogs, it is nutrient-poor and is dominated by plants of the heather family (Ericaceae).

These photos were taken from 2007 through 2008 at the Delta Nature Reserve, a Delta municipal park located near Highway 91 along the eastern edge of Burns Bog.
