Rock Island Dam, WA

The Rock Island Dam, located on the Columbia River 12 miles (19 km) downstream from Wenatchee, was completed in 1933. It was the first of 11 dams built on the Columbia River in the US. It has a generating capacity of 624 megawatts of power, and produces an average of 2600 GWh per year.
