Coquihalla River, BC

The Coquihalla River is a fairly large river (length 57 km) which enters the Fraser River at Hope, BC. It is an important spawning stream for salmon and steelhead. The Coquihalla Pass near its headwaters provides passage for Provincial Highway #5 (and formerly the Kettle Valley Railway, before its closure in 1989) across the Cascade Mountains.
