Nooksack Tower, WA

A telephoto view of the Nooksack Tower (2525 m or 8285 feet). This imposing rock tower, a subpeak of Mount Shuksan, is described as "one of the most difficult and imposing summits of the Cascade Range" by Fred Beckey, who first climbed it with Clifford Schmidtke in 1946. A view from just below the Mount Baker ski area.
