Methow River near Twisp, WA

The Methow River, a major tributary of the Columbia River, enters it at Pateros, just a few miles below the confluence of the Okanogan River. The Methow is 80 miles (129 km) long, and drains a sparsely-populated watershed which covers 1825 square miles (4727 square km). The Pasayten Wilderness Area includes much of the headwaters of the Methow River and its tributaries.
