Shellrock Mountain, OR

Shellrock Mountain (637 metres or 2090 feet), like Wind Mountain directly across the Columbia River in Washington, is a massive intrusion of granodiorite. As can be seen here, most of the mountain's lower slopes are a continuous talus slope. Interstate Highway 84, which skirts the mountain along the river, is at constant risk of rockslides.
