Greenleaf Peak, near North Bonneville, WA

Greenleaf Peak (1043 metres or 3422 feet), north of the Columbia River, was one of the sources of the massive Bonneville Landslide, which probably occurred between 1500 and 1700 A.D. This gigantic landslide covered about 14 square km to a depth of 60 m or more, and dammed the Columbia River for several years. There is evidence of earlier slides in the same area.
