Columbian White-tailed Deer

This endangered subspecies of the White-tailed Deer was once common along the lower Columbia River and the Willamette Valley in Washington and Oregon. Today, there are only about 600 in and near the JB Hansen National Wildlife Refuge, plus another 3000 to 6000 in southwestern Oregon.
