Great Purple Hairstreak without tail but with Lovebugs!
Great Purple Hairstreak on buttonbush with the dreaded Lovebugs! AARRGG!! Hairstreak has had a rough time as indicated by loss of false face. Lovebugs have no natural enemy and when they smash on your car, it you don't get rid of them, the paint will peel. They are found in Florida twice a year. They are called lovebugs because they are usually found in pairs stuck together!
