living...like it's the last time

i've learn so much about life through the girlies we've had...

 

maile (1988-2003) taught me patience and perseverance

becky (2003-2004) reminded me that love & trust has to be earned

daisy (1997- ) happiness can be found in the simplest of things...as long as we're together...

 

came home a couple of weeks ago to find daisy unable to move...she had been absolutely fine in the morning.

an ultra sound showed a mass attached to her pancreas...it's the size of a softball...

she apparently could not stand because the tumor was now eating all of her red cells...her blood count had crashed to 14...should be 45-60...

 

at her age, there's really nothing we can do but to enjoy every moment we have left...

somehow, she has found the strength to stand and walk (sometimes run)...but mostly, she smiles and constantly wags her tail...

 

took her to the beach this weekend...i pray it's not the last time...

 

 

 

oh yeah, i forgot about my youngest girlie.

 

emily (2004- ) reminds me that some dogs are just plain retarded
